South Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for a Loan Analyst. This position’s main duty will be to perform underwriting for the agency’s Small Business Loan Programs. The individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, reviewing applicant’s credit reports & tax returns, analyzing applicant’s financial documentation, and assessing the applicant’s debt-to-income ratio in order to assist in the determination of whether an applicant is a viable loan. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word). Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years’ experience in a related field. Previous underwriting or lending experience preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with permanent status and fringe benefits. Starting salary is approximately $43,700 – $56,000 annually depending on experience. Benefits include retirement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave.
