South Central Planning & Development Commission is seeking a HR Specialists at its whose main duty is to handle day to day HR activities such as processing Onboarding & Offboarding paperwork. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining insurance applications, insurance enrollments/cancellations, worker’s comp claims, and assist in maintaining employee files. This position will also help with posting job ads and processing incoming resumes. In addition, the HR Specialist will assist with some accounting duties related to insurance premiums, invoice verifications, & payroll deductions.  The individual should possess a minimum of a high school diploma and have at least 4 years’ similar work experience or an Associate’s Degree. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word).  This is a full-time, hourly positions with permanent status and fringe benefits. Starting pay will be approximately $19.00 – $26.00 an hour depending on experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave.
