South Central Planning & Development Commission is seeking a Field Manager in the Northern Louisiana area for its statewide Small Business Recovery Loan Programs.  The main responsibility of the Field Manager is to provide oversight of outreach center(s) in Northern Louisiana (Shreveport/Monroe/Alexandria).  This includes overseeing staff productivity & loan application intake workflow, as well as staff schedules at those locations.  The manager is responsible for understanding and implementing state & federal programmatic guidelines. Responsibilities also include promoting the small business recovery loan programs to local businesses and overseeing lease requirements for those outreach centers. The manager will work directly with their department head and CEO related to developing and implementing the program goals, objectives, & procedures.  The manager must also possess excellent communication skills, as well as be comfortable with public speaking.  This position may be called upon to attend and make presentations at public meetings.  Minimum qualifications should include a High School Diploma with at least 10 years’ experience with similar governmental programs. Prior parish, municipal or regional experience a plus. Knowledge of business lending is also a plus. This position is a full- time temporary, salaried position with fringe benefits. Benefits include retirement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave. Starting Pay will be approximately $83,000 – $115,000 annually depending on qualification level and experience. SCPDC is an EOE/AAE.
