South Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for a Site Plans Analyst at its Baton Rouge location to perform civil plan review & site review related to landscaping, drainage, sewer and traffic proposed projects, in order to ensure compliance with city-parish codes and ordinances. This position requires working with landscape architects, architects, engineers and developers in granting civil and landscaping permits. They will also work in conjunction with permitting, planning and plans examiner staff as part of the compliance review process. Minimum qualifications for an Analyst II are a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a related field. Knowledge and familiarity with grading, drainage, site construction and landscape design/installation are required. Louisiana licensed Landscape Architect preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with permanent status and fringe benefits. Starting salary is approximately $65,000 – $85,000 annually depending on experience.
