South Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for a full-time IT Technician or Specialist. The main duty for this position is to perform general technology troubleshooting and provide support related to our company’s hardware. This position will be required to provide onsite support at various agency locations throughout South Louisiana.  The IT Technician or Specialist will participate in producing & managing purchase request related to technological needs of agency staff members.  This position will also participate in managing, monitoring and tracking all agency equipment through an inventory database. The individual should possess a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, as well as a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.  Experience with VOIP, networking and email is a plus. This is a full-time hourly position with permanent status and fringe benefits. Starting pay will be approximately $15.60 – $27.00 an hour depending on experience and qualification levels.
