Who should attend – towns/municipalities, tourism commissions, Main St programs, or any civic organization interested in improving their community.

This workshop will take participants through the strategic planning process and provide guidelines for how participants can create organizational plans and/or plans focused on growing tourism, retail, entrepreneurship, etc.

Workshop Structure

1. Overview of the strategic planning process
2. Conducting a situation analysis (SWOT) that goes beyond the obvious and illuminates strategic activities
3. Establishing SMART goals
4. Creating strategies that are aligned with goals, mission, and vision of your organization
