South Central Planning &
Development Commission is accepting resumes for the position of  Legal
Specialist to perform paralegal, collections and loan compliance tasks. This
individual will also assist in grant writing, research of businesses and
related technical assistance to small businesses. This position involves
professional-level duties and judgment, good communication skills, good
computer skills, routine administrative tasks, occasional field work, works
well with the public, and coordinates well with office personnel. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software ( specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Access) a plus.  Experience should include government, lending,
paralegal and/or related fields.  The position is an hourly employee with
permanent status.  The individual should possess a high school diploma as
a minimum and have 5 years’ minimum similar work experience, or possess an
Associate’s Degree from and accredited University.    Salary
will be approximately $17-$24 an hour depending on experience.
