SCPDC is a Strategic Program Partner of the Delta Regional Authority (DRA). As the Local Development District for our Parishes, our staff of Certified Program Coordinators are the front-line project managers assisting with DRA investments that support job creation and community development. Economic Development Administration (EDA)

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

Each year the Commission prepares an update to its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) (OEDP). The Plan is an excellent source of information on the South Central Region. Resiliency (REDRM)

SCPDC’s Regional Economic Development Resiliency Management program facilitates the development and implementation of economic recovery strategies and projects, in both pre and post disaster environments with emphasis on the business community and health crisis.
