Public Notice: Employment Opportunity – Software Customer Representative
South Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for full-time and part-time Software Customer Representatives. The Software Representative’s main duty is to interact with customers of our custom software, provide basic assistance and may occasionally assist with fieldwork. The Software Representative must possess good communication and basic computer skills. The individual should possess a high school diploma or GED as a minimum. Both full-time and part-time positions are hourly positions. Full-time positions are positions with permanent status and fringe benefits. Benefits include, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave. Starting pay will be approximately $10.40 – $15 an hour depending on experience.

Public Notice: Employment Opportunities – Software Analysts
South Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for Software Analysts to mainly perform, discuss, and analyze business requirements with customers, as well as create plans to solve problems with the use of agency’s custom software. The Software Analyst must demonstrate, mainly through on-line conferencing, the use of custom software features. Travel may be required for business analysis and software training. These jobs require, but are not limited to analytical decision making, problem solving, and high quality customer service. Minimum qualifications for an Analyst I is a bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in a related field. Higher levels of experience are needed to qualify for Analyst II. These are full-time, salaried positions with permanent status and fringe benefits. Benefits include retirement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave. Starting salary will be approximately $45,000 – $85,000 annually depending on qualification level and experience. A hybrid or remote work situation may be considered. Opportunities for further upward advancement are available.
