St. James Comp Plan Monday, July 12, 2010 Steering Committee Meeting

A monthly meeting of the St. James Parish Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.in the West Bank Reception Hall – 2455 Highway 18 Vacherie, Louisiana 70090. On January 11, 2010 the St. James Parish Council awarded the South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC) a contract to assist in the development of a parish wide comprehensive plan. As part of this contractual agreement, the Council appointed a diverse group of local citizens to a nineteen (19) member steering committee to assist in the planning process. The Steering Committee will meet in consultation with SCPDC to overview the process and to establish the dates for future meetings.
