June 7th St. James Comprehensive Plan West Bank Kick-Off Meeting
A monthly meeting of the St. James Parish Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is scheduled for Monday, June 14, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., in the Romeville Recreation Park – Senior Center Room – District 4 – Highway 44 Convent, Louisiana 70723. On January 11, 2010 the St. James Parish Council awarded the South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC) a contract to assist in the development of a parish wide comprehensive plan. As part of this contractual agreement, the Council appointed a diverse group of local citizens to a nineteen (19) member steering committee to assist in the planning process. The Steering Committee will meet in consultation with SCPDC to overview the process and to establish the dates for future meetings.
